Gratitude

Do you practice gratitude? I have found what a difference it can make in my life when I wake up and take time to think about what I’m grateful for. I personally prefer to write it down in a gratitude journal or a planner. We tend to get so caught up in the daily drama and negative aspects of our lives that we forget about the little things that we are blessed to have but end up taking for granted. Reflecting on this daily helps to appreciate those around me and have a positive outlook on my day. What you may be grateful for may differ from what another person chooses to reflect on. Occasionally, life circumstances can remind us how truly blessed we are, but if we can focus on those blessings more often, what a positive life we can live.
